CPO needs continued support throughout the year in the following categories.

Our Food Drive List is regularly updated with the items that we need to feed a family for one week. (Click here to see our Food Drive List.) The quantity provided is based on the size of the family and which items are currently available.

CPO accepts donations of the following gently used or new items:

- Infant formula (milk based, not soy)
- Baby food (especially stages 1 and 3)
- Diapers size 4 and above (especially size 4)
- Baby wipes
- Children's clothes up to size 6T (especially sizes 3T-6T)
- Socks and underwear for boys and girls (through size 6T)
- Maternity clothes
- Preschool books
- Blanket and bibs
- Baby bathtubs
- Potty seats
- Strollers
- Portable cribs

CPO cannot accept donations of full-sized cribs, jogging strollers,
or used carseats.

Checks can be made out to "Catholic Parish Outreach" and mailed to: Catholic Parish Outreach, 2013 Raleigh Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27604.

CPO can also accept a gift through your VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card.  Credit card donations should be over $20 due to bank fees charged.  To make an online credit card donation to CPO, click here to go to the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh website.

IMPORTANT: For CPO to receive your gift, you must select "Raleigh Region - Catholic Parish Outreach" (as shown below) when you provide your Donation Information.

How To Specify CPO in Donation Information

If you would prefer to make a credit card donation via phone, please call Kelly Rappl (919-873-0245 x230).

You can volunteer at your convenience at any time. However, we ask you to contact us in advance so that we can coordinate with the lead volunteer on duty that day. Volunteers can donate their time on a one-time basis or on a regular basis and the volunteer day can be based on a week or month schedule.

To schedule a day to volunteer, contact Kathy Barnack at (919)847-1466. You can volunteer on a trial or a continuing basis.





CPO is in constant need for the following items:

  • paper towels
  • 8.5 by 11 inch printer/copier paper to support the daily administration activities
  • printer address labels (1" x 2 5/8" with 30 labels per sheet, Avery 5160 equivalent)
  • used printer cartridges (CPO recycles these at Staples for $2 a cartridge toward office supplies)
  • paper grocery bags
  • sturdy reusable shopping bags for clients who carry their groceries to the bus stop
  • Infant formula, milk based (not soy)
  • Baby wipes
  • Feminine pads and napkins
